ABOUT CLIMATE CHANGE WEBINARS

The Sustainable Community Aid Network (SCAN) is excited to announce a series of Climate Change Webinars as a continuation of its annual Climate Action Awareness Campaign. These webinars will delve into the evolving climate crisis, focusing on its disproportionate impacts on minority and vulnerable communities.

Key topics include:

  • Climate Change and Socio-Economic Inequalities: Understanding how climate change exacerbates social and economic disparities, particularly among marginalized groups.
  • Raising Awareness: Equipping participants with the knowledge and resources necessary to recognize and respond to the climate crisis, while exploring strategies for climate change adaptation.
  • Available Resources for Adaptation: Highlighting practical tools, policies, and local initiatives that empower communities to build resilience against climate impacts.

Through expert-led discussions, the webinars will foster dialogue on climate justice, resilience building, and sustainable solutions, providing actionable insights for all attendees.
